Here is an explanation: PCX30 should be common and means it was built by Pacific Boats and is 30 feet / 123 is the hull number / 1280 is the date of Manufacture (Dec. 1980).

In 1978, George Olson designed the ultralight Olson 30. The Olson 30 was built from 1978 to 1984, 255 were reported built, however, the highest hull number reported still to be in existence is #246.
