RACING AREA / COURSES
The racing Thursday (Olson 30) will take place
using the fixed “club marks” just
out from the Tahoe Keys on South Shore. The
start/finish for Friday’s distance race
will be out front of Tahoe Keys. Saturday
and Sunday racing will be in Stateline Bay
(the Southeast corner of Lake Tahoe). Allow
plenty of time to get there from your mooring.
Towboat(s) will be available from your mooring
(call Kurt 530 307 0903) approx. 1 ½
hr before start each day.
BERTHING AND HAUL-OUT
RESTRICTIONS
Boats may be kept in any area convenient to
your accommodations. If you are staying at
Timber Cove, a number of buoys are reserved
for our use at Timber Cove Marina. The cleanest
water for your bottom is out on a mooring
on the Lake itself, rather than rafted by
the hoist. Rafting in the vicinity of the
hoist is very limited and may not be available
(last year it was $40 per night) – enter
early and we will find you a spot. Please
respect that it is a commercial marina with
a short season. Boats shall not be hauled
out during the regatta except with written
permission from the race committee.
PRIZES
Prizes will be given to the first five places.
In order to facilitate haul-out, the awards
will be made at the hoist area of the marina
after any protests have been resolved.
