Black Aye is a 1979 Olson 30, one of the first ten hulls laid by Pacific Boats in Santa Cruz, CA.
She has the original single spreader Sparcraft mast and boom. In fact this is pretty much the original design in entirety. Navtec rod rigging replaced three years ago.

The cabin top was completely recored when I purchased her four years ago, as well as new top-side paint. The bottom was stripped prior to last season, barrier coated and has 3 coats of Black Widow.

She is on a tandem axle, road worthy trailer with all new rims and rubber with less than 50 miles. Surge brakes need to be bled and tested. I set up the trailer for ramp launch with a tow strap.

Secondary power is a 2020 Yamaha long shaft 5hp four stroke. Less than 25 hours.
Electronics are a Raymarine i70 wind speed depth. All running lights are LED. Electric bilge pump. Electronics are run off of two M12 Milwaukee 9ah power tool batteries on pergo switch.

The sail inventory is:
main = Quantum Carbon Sport w/ taffeta on both sides. Single reef point. 3 seasons.
#1 = 155% Quantum Carbon Sport w/ taffeta on both sides. 3 seasons but not in constant use.
#3 = 100% to 85% older Dacron (north) with single reef point.
#4 = 85% older Dacron (Sobstad).
Spinnakers are older but functional
2 x 1/2 oz
1 x 3/4 oz

There are five more sails in the loft that are in poor shape. Might be repairable but I’ve not set in to see if they are repairable.
