Measurement

Bruce Rand has been the measurer in the Lake Ontario region since I joined the fleet a few years back, and has done a great job keeping us in line and ensuring a fair playing field for the NAs each year. He’s taking a sabbatical this year, and I’m curious if there is anyone else who can measure sails/boats in the area. If not, what is the process to have someone designated ahead of the NAs in July?

I had a quick look through the Class Constitution, and didn’t see anything requiring a measurer to be a current class member. Is there any regulation that restricts Bruce or any other former measurer from certifying sails if they are willing to help?
