I’m interested in an Olson 30 and would like some information about lifting systems used by those of you who dry sail your boats. A diagram or photo would be helpful, also.

There is a single point lifting bar that screws onto one of the keel bolts through the deck. A small yacht club crane will then do the trick. However, my dry sail yard simply uses large forklifts to pluck the boat out of the water. Works great.
I’ve also got the rod w/ a coupling nut welded at the bottom and loop at the top. Have always thought a nice option would be an eye nut with webbing. Much lighter and easier to carry around than the rod. Also eliminate reliance on any welds.
