Hi All,
Grad student in naval architecture design project – we’re looking at the design job of retrofitting the O30 with a composite rig (carbon mast, spreaders, boom and PBO standing rigging).
We probably won’t end up actually rigging a boat this way for economic reasons but our work undertaken is to design the full rig and mods to the boat as needed.
For this we’re looking for any kind of jump start on digitized lines plans for the boat. Does anyone know of such CAD drawings? Have they ever been digitized (not just scanned but rather actually drawn in CAD). I’ve heard of some rudder work but not he entire boat.
Alternatively, if anyone has just pdf versions of lines drawings that they would be willing to share we will take anything.Many thanks to anyone who can help.
