I am replacing my forstay foil track and wanted to ask the community what is the length I should cut it at. the old adage measure twice and cut once. I purchased it from Ballenger spars. May I ask how far off the deck does the foil sit on a Olson 30. or the foil length. either will work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks you

The headstay foil (Harken) on my boat is close to 32’6″. There is *some* flexibility to the length of the foil itself since the spacer sleeve sit beneath the foil and takes up whatever space it needed to stand the foil off the deck. The Harken units come with instructions on how long to make the bottom spacer.

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has the rake angle of the Olson 30 Mast (the double spreader rig).
