    Anyone who replaced their stanchions with stainless have any original stanchions they would sell?

    I need to replace 1 (would also take 1 or 2 more as spares if the price was right.)

    I have 6 stainless steel 20″ above deck available. Used, 3 100% straight and 3 with very minor deflection due to tight lifelines. Garhauers with smooth top.

    Personally, I would never go back to the aluminum ones. Brittle and break at the wrong time.

    The best place to get original stanchions is from Garhauer Marine in Upland, CA. Order tapered tip stanchions 30″” long, 1″ dia with 12.5″ between the lifelines. Cost is $40 plus $15 shipping.
