Does anyone still have the original standing rigging? I’ve had a couple of scary experiences over the last 3 years. Broke a lower shroud at the terminal connection and was lucky to avoid losing the mast 3 summers ago – replaced all the shrouds at the time. Was moving the mast yesterday and just happened to move the headfoil away from the mast and the forestay simply sheered off at the terminal connection at the mast head. Lucky in both cases.
Anyway – all standing rigging soon to be new.
I’m going to find out from the previous owner!
Question: Saltwater?
Yes – the boat has been sailed in Salt Water it’s entire life.
