Outgrabber on the O30

Someone on the SA forum suggested an outgrabber http://www.spinnakershop.com/Out-grabber.htm
might be a good idea in high winds. Someone else mentioned that they are good on some boats but not others. Has anybody used one on an O30?How is this different than twinging down the sheet?
Imagine the clusterf#@k if you forgot to remove it before gybing or if you Chinese gybed…
